My name is Timothy Barry, 11 years old from Jos, Plateau state.

In the year 2015, we were seated in the house when Fulani herdsmen raided our area, killing anyone they stumbled upon. We got a report from someone within our community who rushed to our house informing us of the Fulani raid.

A Time Of Gratitude

The end of a semester affords a reasonable mind a time for retrospection. It is within such a time that I now bask. However, I refuse to be consumed in the fire of the mirth that the time affords. I will spend this Christmas recalling the generosity and kind acts that I have benefited from and it is upon such a theme that I now spill my ink and punch my keyboard.

Reports of Attacks on the People of Southern Kaduna

The killing of Southern Kaduna people who are Ninety percent (90%) Christians is increasing every day, the people there cannot go to farm due to the fear of unknown gun men. Anyone who dare go to farm alone will not come back alive no matter how strong he/she may be, because of this, the people of Southern Kaduna are now suffering hunger, starvation and poverty. Their sin is just because they are Christians.

Two Pastors, Czech Aid Worker Among Four on Trial

Two pastors and a Czech aid worker are among four people standing trial for “crimes against national security” in Khartoum, Sudan. If found guilty on all charges, the men could be sentenced to death. The next hearing in the trial is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 26.
