Christmas in Maiduguri

Nov 2014 - A day before the distribution, we tried our best to see that a handful of things are put in place. The action packs were rearranged and we made plans on how we would successfully control the crowd. We then finalized every other necessary arrangements.

On getting to the location for the distribution in Maiduguri we met a very huge crowd that surpassed our expectations and lot of other Christians with children were still on their way to the venue. In order to still be able to handle the crowd, we decided it would be better we divided them into two batches.

Hassan had a terrible encounter with members of Boko Haram. After a brutal attack on Christian worshippers on Sunday in Attagara the young child was running back home holding his "Children’s Bible" when three of the Islamic insurgents grabbed him and sat him down.

Christian Men Will All Be Killed So That Their Wives Would Be Left As Widows

Madalla Yakori - (original name changed to protect victim)  was shot when terrorists attacked Gwoza and killed a lot of people.

Men ran from their homes that day. Unknown to them, Madalla Yakori and his friends went home to pick some clean dresses and other things the next day but Boko haram came again around 3pm for another slaughter. On arrival, Madalla's wife told him that the Boko haram members were around and they should run for their lives.

48 Young Students Confirmed Dead As Bomb Goes Off During The Schools Morning Assembly

Potiskum – Yobe, Nigeria. Confirmed reports has pegged the current death toll of the suicide bomb attack on the government school in Potiskum at 48 with about 79 wounded at the moment.
